We want to help you and your vehicle to be as LOUD as possible. We’ve made sure that is the case by using innovative and groundbreaking techniques that increase durability.

MOLDED POLYPROPYLENE CONE

We designed the MAD S1 series to play LOUD – and that requires a tough cone. The cone is made from injection-molded polypropylene, engineered to withstand extreme resonance and prevent membrane break-up, even at very high SPL levels. The brand new S1 series features a black cone with the GAS logo in bright orange. Feed it with raw power – and it will deliver.

DVS™ VENTILATION SYSTEM

If you like it LOUD, proper cooling is essential. That’s why we’ve equipped the subwoofer with DVS™ (Dual Ventilation System), reducing distortion and improving heat dissipation. The 51 mm voice coil is made from PCW (Pure Copper Wire) and treated with a black coating for enhanced thermal performance. Better cooling means lower temperatures – and lower temperatures allow you to push your system even further.

ENCLOSURE OPTIMIZED

The MAD S1 series delivers both power and versatility. Carefully tuned Thiele/Small parameters ensure excellent performance in sealed, vented, and bandpass enclosures. Add polyfill to the enclosure to reduce boominess and bring out tighter, deeper BASS!

MAD DESIGN

To complete the high-quality construction, the subwoofer features a rugged, industrial MAD-designed steel basket built for strength and durability. The dust cap, like the cone, is made from IMPP and features a unique 3D design that stands out. The new and improved basket has been reinforced by over 30% compared to the previous S1 design. The back plate has also been increased in height, allowing the voice coil to move further while maintaining control and reliability. Walk tall and cruise with pride.
